Opal Environmental specializes in Asbestos Inspections and Asbestos Abatetment of industrial and commercial facilities. Other environmental services include Environmental Oversight, Site Assessment, Soil, Air and Water Sampling, and pre construction/demolition Hazardous Material Removal.  Opal is licensed and registered in the states of Ohio & Michigan.  And is a Native American owned and operated minority business enterprize.

Demolition Services

Whether full scale, or selective demolition, dismantling or overseas packaging; Opal is proficient at performing
your scope of work in and around operating metals, power, and petrochemical (plants, mills, or lines).  Opal also excels at metals recovery of hard to process material such as:  obsolete overhead cranes, storage tanks, towers, rail equipment, mill stands, mill rolls, deconstruction of large DC motors, shallow depth marine salvage, and decommissioned rail and rail equipment.

Recycling & Metals trade

Opal’s Assets Management group handles its metals brokerage contracts for the recycling of metals from its own demolition operations, as well as paring its scrap metals with other demolition contractors, to warrant mill direct shipments and pricing.  Currently, Opal and its partners are working to develop a municipal yard waste, and scrap recycling center at our Cleveland Ohio facility (formerly the Van Dorn Iron Works).  Opal’s future plans include reviving a Great Lakes based Scrap Export business.

Assets Management

Opal’s Asset Management group specializes in the procurement and sale of surplus and decommissioned complete plants, mills, and finishing lines for Metals, Oil & Gas, and Power producers worldwide.   Services including:  Appraisals and Consulting, Decommission, Contract Sales & Procurement, Marketing and Research, Project Management, Specification Write-up, and Logistics.
